We had the most magical vacation at Villa Urbis! We were warmly welcomed by all the villa staff and with an impressive apertivo. The villa was beautifully appointed and meticulously maintained. We enjoyed the short walk to town and to the cable car and the magnificent views - the location could not have been better. The staff even helped us set up activities including a private chef and cooking lesson at the villa. It made our stay even more special. Don’t hesitate booking this villa!
It isn't often that the property looks like the photos in the listing. This villa did!! It was as beautiful in person as shown on line. Convenient location. Easily walkable to downtown Taormina. Great communication any time we had questions. The kitchen was well appointed with every imaginable appliance and tons of dishware and service items. Our group of 6 had a fantastic time and would recommend this villa to anyone.

It was an incredible villa with an amazing location and stunning views. They provided us with a warm welcome spread of local foods, pastries and fruits which was over the top. We had a house manager and cleaning lady every day of our stay. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. Can’t wait to stay there again.
Villa Urbis is Five Star from beginning to end! Attention to every detail has been carefully tailored on this stunning property overlooking the Ionian Sea and within 10 minutes walking distance to the city center. The rooms are beautifully curated and are designed to maximize comfort and privacy. Multiple terraces allow for more views and relaxation. We had a late evening arrival and were graciously greeted by the entire staff, including the owner and a colorful spread of charcuterie and sparkling wine. We were instantly made to feel welcomed! The kitchens and pantries throughout were generously stocked. The villa was immaculately maintained on a daily basis by staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us and meet our needs. We miss them! After a month's stay we cannot say enough good things about our experience at Villa Urbis and beautiful Taormina. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning!
We were a group of 9 family members crossing 3 generations. The house was perfect, the staff attentive and the location was exceptional. Amazing ocean views, roof top patios and easy walk to the main shops and restaurants.
My entire family, including my father, sister and her family stayed at Villa Urbis after Christmas 2022. We were warmly greeted by the Novae Dimore team and Villa staff who helped us get situated in the villa and solve several logistical questions about our upcoming stay. The villa was extremely well stocked with a lot of the basics and pasta that we had not expected! There were also an assortment of cakes, pastries and fruit for us to enjoy! The villa is ideally situated just a short walk from restaurants and shops and is very close to the gondola down to the sea. The house staff came every day to provide cleaning and replaced linens several times during our stay, which really just made our visit even more relaxing. The villa is large with lots of room for a lot of people and the views from every bedroom are amazing of the Ionian Sea. Our older teenagers used the roof shower every evening looking at the stars while they showered. Probably the greatest surprise was our hostess, Ann. We had to rework many of our details once we arrived to include making multiple reservations as well as hire a van service for several days and she took care of everything. She check on us every day and made sure we had everything we needed. We really felt like we had the royal treatment! I look forward to our next visit to Taormina and stay at the Villa Urbis!
This is without a doubt, the nicest place I've ever stayed in. The villa is so gorgeous, well-appointed, and clean. The bedrooms are all beautiful with large, comfortable beds, the common spaces are breathtaking, and the pool area is a dream. The location is also perfect for Taormina, within walking distance of the main shopping/eating area, as well as to the gondola, which takes you down to the beaches. Everyone at the villa was warm, friendly, and a delight to talk to. I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you are traveling with a small group of friends or family. 10/10, would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Villa Urbis is absolutely STUNNING. Everything from its decor to the staff to the size and location is pure perfection. The views are out of this world. Amazing for large groups of friends but you have to be respectful folks as the villa is full of amazing art. We just cannot wait to be back and want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the amazing staff. Book, you won’t regret it!
We were very comfortable and couldn't be happier about the location--walking distance to the town of taormina and the beach. The hosts were extremely attentive. Everything was as advertised if not even better. House staff were extremely helpful.
This villa is everything it says it is and more. We were welcomed with a buffet of fresh fruit, cheeses, and meats. The villa is absolutely stunning from every room. The location is unsurpassed and a small walk to town and just a few hundred meters to the steps to Isola Bella and the beach. Everything is within walking distance. Room service was included which was a huge bonus that we were unaware of and everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. We will miss this place!
